When youβre obsessed with dahlias, itβs easy to say each varietal is your favorite. We have dozens of favorite flowers in our garden, and weβre sure you do too. Dahlias marked βLPA True Favoriteβ is our way of narrowing down the list from favorites to necessities. These are dahlias that set the bar higher. Dahlias we would recommend to anyone. Dahlias we cannot be without, and we know youβll feel the same way once you grow them. From landscaping beds to cut flower production, all LPA True Favorites wonβt disappoint. With over 200 varietals trialed, weβve named 10 LPA True Favorites.

We guarantee our tubers be true to varietal and have at least 1 viable eye. We only sell tubers that we are confident will grow healthily, and would grow ourselves.
We dig and divide exclusively one varietal at a time. All plants and tubers carefully monitored and tagged throughout the blooming season, to prevent any variety mix-ups.

You are purchasing dahlia tubers for the 2026 growing season. They will be shipped in Early Spring of 2026. We do not ship during freezing winter temperatures.
If you have a quality issue with your shipment, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Any issue raised after the 24-hour period is not covered by our guarantee.
We do not guarantee a tuber that arrives free of rot, but rots once in your possession/placed in soil. There are too many variables involved.
Unfortunately we do not combine multiple orders, as it opens a window of opportunity for tubers to be miscounted while packing.
We have not had a mislabeled dahlia on our farm in years due to the meticulous system we work with to dig and divide. However, if properly documented, we will apply credit to you for the following yearβs sale, or refund you for any mislabeled varietals. All tuber varietals are labeled directly on the tuber.

Upon receiving your package, you have 24 hours to dispute any issues. Please provide proof of damage so we can begin a claim with USPS. If the claim is accepted, we will replace your damaged tubers if we still have stock available. Otherwise, you will receive a full refund.
Keep in mind tubers are more resilient than you may think! Knocked off sprouted eyes, or bruises/breaks to the base of the tuber are rarely problematic.

We will most likely begin shipping tubers in early April, depending on temperature trends across the country, and where you live specifically.
If you would like to receive your tubers sooner, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Shipping with heat packs will incur an extra fee.

Yes, this option is available only for local (Long Island) customers. You will see it at checkout. You will not pay shipping in this instance. Please note we are located on the North Fork in Cutchogue. You must schedule a time to pick your tubers up between March 1st through April 15th. We will reach out to organize this next year.
If you can not pick up your tubers by April 15th 2026, you may not receive your tubers, or a refund, as they may begin to wake up and rot before making it in the ground.
